Scholarship Background Information
Robert Hagerty studied Operations Research at the College of Engineering and graduated in 1974 with a degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. He also earned an MAM, Management from Saint Mary's College of California in 1978.
In 2014, Bob received the Outstanding Alumni Award in recognition of his success as an executive leader who played a key role in creating and expanding several technology industry giants.
Bob and Deanna's generous philanthropy at UMass Amherst has supported many of the College's key initiatives and has provided generous financial support to students and the Society of American Military Engineers.
