Retired University Art Professor needs help weeding, pruning, and other odd jobs. (I am open to an exchange of artwork or lessons). I always did this work myself but am still recovering from an accident. This could become an ongoing job through the Summer-Fall. I live in South Amherst; the bus stop is on Potwine and West St., (rte. 116), one mile from my house. I also need help putting stretchers together and stretching canvases, if you are a good learner and pay attention to detail. Students interested in these PAID positions offered by private families in their homes during this time, must be aware of the risks associated with COVID-19 and be personally responsible for minimizing these risks and are encouraged to adhere to federal, state and local guidelines and regulations. As these positions are offered by private families, UMass Amherst is not liable or responsible for any outcomes or situations that arise from participating in any of these opportunities.
